Reviews
I am a SJSU Alumni, and tacos here were a major part of my monthly dinner / late night snacks while in school. but of all the mexican places i've tried so far, the tacos here are simply the best. Have tried multiple items from the menu, but feel its consistently good for fish and chicken items. The other meats are often hit or miss for me. The service is good, but can be improved. Can't complain much though, they're usually jam packed no matter the hour / day you visit. Love their sauces too. I visit this place at least twice a month, usually more often than this, even though its a 30 minutes drive from MV.
Food: 7/10 - The quesabirrias were okay, nothing crazy. They were extremely small too. The sauces were extremely good though. Service: 6/20 - Workers spoke spanish instead of english so figuring out when to pick up our order was confusing. Ambiance: 5/10 - It's an outdoor taco truck lol.
I was visiting my friend Kylie poo in the bay and he wanted to take me to this local taco truck in SJ. I'm not the biggest fan of taco trucks but let me tell you.... these tacos were bombastically astronomical!!! We got the birria tacos and birria burrito and it was buss. I love that they put avocado in the burrito and idk how they made the tortilla wrap like that but they need to do that to every burrito worldwide. The birria sauce was so good I drank the rest of it and even some left on his fingers. Overall very unfortunate I don't live in SJ because I won't get to eat this again for a very long time. 1000000000/10!!!
Can't believe it took me this long to try Sparcos. It was FANTASTIC. I'm very particular about birria tacos and the ones here really blew me away. So flavorful, juicy, tender, and perfectly cheesy. The consomé is usually not drinkable to me but the one here is hearty and delicious. 10/10! Second on my list for birria tacos. The Super Burrito was so so good as well. We got lengua and it was so soft. Everything melted together with each other and it was just a really good burrito. All the salsas are amazing but orange was best. And the horchata was sooo creamy and addicting. Had to stop myself from chugging it. Service was quick despite the long line. Few tables outside for seating that might not be too clean but does the job. Opened decently late, be sure to bring cash cus they're cash only. I love this spot and hope to be back soon.
Great place for authentic tacos in San Jose. The food truck opens til much later hours and the venue is pretty crowded usually there's a long line waiting. It's outdoor and parking can be hard to find. There are tables with chairs if you're lucky to find an opening after people finish eating. The good thing is that people leave eventually after they're done eating. Overall, this place is great for group gathering after clubbing at a bar etc.
